Circle A Cyclocross/ Embrocation Racing

Who am I? November 17, 2006

My name is Dan Langlois. I am new to the elite fields of cyclocross racing, but am an elite sweetheart of old. I am still really new to ‘cross racing in general, my first season being that of 2006. I very proudly race for Circle A Cycles and the Hub Cyclery out of Providence, Rhode Island.  I also ride on the road with the Rapha Continental squad of the east coast. My other sponsors, to whom I owe many thanks to, include: Chris King, Giro, Sugino, Serfas, and Crank Bros. I am currently living in Philadelphia, PA.  It’s no joke when it is said that I can cook a fantastic meal for you, sans meat though. I am currently looking for an ice cream sponsor, any takers? I can fix your bike for you, if I glue your tires, they WON’T roll.  I am 31 years old.

Dan, Great to hang with you (on the field, obviously couldn’t on the bike). Thanks again hugely for letting me use your phone as I fought panic waiting for Ken & Niall to roll in.

Did you see this write-up on the ride? http://www.franklinlandtrust.org/epicride.htm
I’m very very glad I did NOT see that before I tried!!!!

Interesting that Niall was in the saddle 10 hours, did 127 miles and about 16,000′ of climbing while I was in the saddle 9 hours did about 90 miles and 8,500′ What a difference youth makes!

Already thinking about how I could do better next year. I’m hooked even if its an insane goal for me.

best wishes
huffin & puffin pete
